ABOUT

About SBM®
Secure Brand Management (SBM®) is an independent, third-party risk management firm. We help organizations protect the things that are hardest to rebuild once they're damaged: their security, their compliance standing, their integrity, and their reputation.
Four pillars anchor the work.
-
Security. Threat assessment, protective measures, and the verification of who has access to your people and facilities.
-
Compliance. Policy, procedure, and regulatory review that hold up under scrutiny, including Title IX and civil rights investigations.
-
Integrity. Independent fact-finding, free of internal politics, so the answer reflects the evidence and nothing else.
-
Reputation. Risk identified early, before it becomes the thing everyone remembers.
We work from outside your organization by design. That distance is what lets our findings carry weight an internal review can't.

OUR TEAM
SBM® brings an outside perspective to problems that are hard to see clearly from inside. Free of internal politics, we identify blind spots, strengthen access controls, and sharpen risk mitigation for the government agencies, schools, and public safety operations we serve.
Sheri Stevenson
Founder and Principal
Investigations, emergency management, and psychology.
Over a 26-year career as a Management Analyst, Ms. Stevenson supervised more than 30 employees in the City of Pasadena's Department of Public Works and served as the department's Disaster Response Manager. She wrote the Emergency Preparedness Manual, with response steps tailored to laborers, office staff, and management, and trained more than 300 employees. She also wrote and implemented the annual New Year's Operations Manual for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game, directing daily tasks across the four-month season before, during, and after the events.
Concurrently, Ms. Stevenson worked as an Educational Therapist at a private high school. Drawing on her master's degree in psychology, she worked with more than 2,500 students over 21 years, providing academic, college, and life-skills counseling to students with learning differences and behavioral and psychological challenges. In her post-retirement career, she completed certification in school, workplace, and taskforce-level athlete protection investigations: often multi-victim, multi-jurisdictional matters subject to media scrutiny.
