Secure Brand Management Inc. ("SBM," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Secure Check Pro™ platform ("Platform") to provide site access clearance clearance authorization services for the San Diego Community College District Measure HH Bond Program. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following personal information from individuals submitting clearance authorization forms:

Employer name and project/site information
2. How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

Processing site access clearance clearance check requests

Transmitting authorization forms to our consumer reporting agency (CRA) for clearance check processing

Communicating clearance results to your employer

Maintaining records as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and California ICRAA

Sending you a secure link to complete your authorization forms via email or SMS
3. SMS and Email Communications
We may send you a one-time text message (SMS) containing a secure link to complete your clearance authorization forms. This message is sent on behalf of your employer through the Secure Check Pro platform.

We do not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as follows:

Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA): Your information is transmitted to our CRA for clearance check processing. The identity of our CRA will be provided upon request or in the event of adverse action, as required by the FCRA.

Your Employer: We report clearance results (granted or denied) to the employer who initiated your request.

SDCCD: Clearance summaries are provided to the San Diego Community College District as required by the Measure HH Bond Program.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or legal process.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of Social Security Numbers at rest, secure HTTPS transmission, and role-based access controls limiting who can view sensitive data.
6. Data Retention
We retain clearance authorization records for a minimum of five (5) years as required by applicable law and SDCCD contract requirements.
7. Your Rights Under the FCRA and California Law
You have the right to request a copy of your consumer report, dispute inaccurate information, and receive pre-adverse and adverse action notices if your clearance is denied. See the Summary of Rights provided with your authorization form for full details.
